Before you book
How far ahead should I book?
Earlier is always easier, especially for month-end dates and weekends. Send a request as soon as you have a rough date and we will hold options while your plans firm up.
Can I pack some things myself?
Yes. Many customers pack books and clothes themselves and leave kitchens, glassware and artwork to the crew. We will note what is yours to pack in the written plan.
Is there anything you won't move?
We don't carry hazardous materials such as fuel, paint thinners or gas bottles, and we recommend you keep valuables, documents and medication with you.
How is my quote worked out?
Quotes are based on the volume of items, access at both ends, distance and any packing you ask for. Everything is written down before you confirm, so there are no surprises on the day.
